In May 2012 St. Andrews International School Samakee, was awarded ‘Outstanding School’ status by a UK accrediting team and walked away with the first-ever ‘Gold accreditation’ award – the first International school worldwide to merit such an achievement. In May 2015 and May 2018, Samakee was again awarded OUTSTANDING and we are extremely proud to announce that no other school in the world has yet to receive three consecutive Gold Standard Accreditation awards. We are truly delighted with this amazing achievement.
We are very proud to have been awarded OUTSTANDING in all areas by both ISQM (International Schools Quality Mark) and BSO (British Schools Overseas).
At Samakee, a formal accreditation visit is carried out triennially by a team of qualified and officially recognised UK education inspectors and evaluates our school against eight key internationally accepted categories of performance. In each category, Samakee has been judged to be outstanding, and for the third consecutive time, we have received a Three-Star Gold Standard accreditation award. This award is a truly outstanding achievement. No other school in the world has yet to receive three consecutive Gold Standard Accreditation awards, and we are delighted with our school’s continuing stellar levels of achievement.
In addition to this resounding success at an International School level, Samakee is also recognised by the UK Government as an outstanding ‘British School Overseas’. The BSO award enables the school to have a pronounced presence on the UK Government Education Website so parents with children already attending a British school can read about the incredible standard of education we provide.
