‘Days out of school, and longer school trips put all the school’s care arrangements to the test. Beforehand, risk assessments are made and emergency packs made up. School buses provide safe, well managed transport. Well qualified and vigilant staff then ensure that the educational activities are a stimulating part of the school’s curriculum’ - CfBT Education Trust May 2012
We take full advantage of our local environment and organise a wide range of interesting and informative trips. These excursions enrich the curriculum and make important links with the learning that takes place in our school.
Recently, children in our School have visited places such as Khao Keow Open Zoo, mangrove swamps, Children’s Discovery Museum, the Railway Park, Science Museum, Siam Aquarium, Museums and the farm visits.
Every year Key Stage 2 & 3 children participate in residential trips, which include destinations such as, Ayutthaya, Khao Yai, Chiangrai, Kanchanaburi and Nepal. We firmly believe that residential trips form a central role in helping children to develop independence and self-confidence. Residentials are also valuable in allowing the children to build relationships with their peers out of the classroom context. The success of our residential trips is always evidenced by the smiles, laughter and happy memories with which the children return.
