We promise: Independent, confident, lifelong learners
On Friday 12th April the whole school joined in our annual Splash Day to celebrate the Songkran Festival. The children talked eagerly about the event all week and could not wait to take part in the many activities available. Armed with swimsuits and some with goggles, the children and their teachers visited a series of ‘watery stations’ around the school. Apart from the occasional bucket of cold water, the ‘wetting’ experience was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and tremendous fun!
A particular favourite was the ‘ice play station’ where three huge blocks of ice were waiting to be explored with hammers, chisels and spray paint. Many children slid across the ice and others had a competition to see just how long they could sit still – oh, such cold bottoms!
What a superb day – we are already looking forward to the next Splash Day at St Andrews Samakee!
