Dear Samakee Community,
At Samakee, we are firmly committed to improving literacy and know the profound impact reading for pleasure has on a child’s development. We aim to inspire a love of reading in all our students, encouraging them to explore a wide range of high-quality literature that nurtures imagination and critical thinking.
Our school library is a treasure trove of new and well-loved books—stories that children return to again and again. It is open every weekday, and we strongly encourage children to visit often and select new books regularly to broaden their reading experience.
We believe in the power of reading, which is why our motto is simple: Read to Succeed. Daily reading routines help children develop a love for books, improve their attention span, and build strong language foundations, which are critical for future academic success. The key is consistency and creating a positive, engaging reading experience.
Let’s work together to cultivate a love of books and reading in every child at Samakee!
