Dear Samakee Community,
Yesterday was truly memorable as we gathered in the hall to honour those who have profoundly impacted our lives. While our parents play a pivotal role, it is our teachers who have always encouraged us to succeed in all aspects of life, guiding us with dedication and care.
In Thai culture, the Wai Kru Ceremony marks a significant tradition at the start of each academic year. It is a time when students express deep respect and heartfelt gratitude to their teachers, formalising the important bond between student and teacher.
The tradition of offering flowers for Wai Kru was beautifully upheld today, with an abundance of colourful, fragrant blooms symbolising respect and appreciation. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to making this ceremony so meaningful – particularly the Thai Team and the children!
Thank you for your continued support and participation in this special event. We wish everyone an enjoyable and restful half-term break!
