Dear Samakee Community,
This week has been bustling with activity, and next week is set to be even more interesting, even though it’s a four-day week! We’re thrilled to invite you to our Open Day next Tuesday 6th May. Come and see Samakee in action and discover what makes our school such a special place for learning and growth.
You’ll have the opportunity to visit classrooms, observe our dynamic teaching and learning methods, and gain a genuine sense of our vibrant school community. This is a chance to witness firsthand how our dedicated teachers engage and inspire students, fostering a love of learning.
A highlight of the day will be a special event at 10:00 AM in the Dance and Drama Studio on the third floor. We are delighted to welcome guest speaker Chris Wright. As a Thai-British educator, entertainer, and language expert born and raised in Thailand, Chris possesses a unique understanding of the local context. He will be sharing his insights on the unique benefits of a small school environment, including the close-knit community, individualised support, and strong teacher-student bonds that empower students. Chris is a nationally recognised figure. He is well-known for his bestselling Thai-language English learning books and his engaging presence on popular educational TV shows, including Chris Delivery, CAT English, and Click on the Mahidol Channel. He also connects with audiences across Thailand as a motivational speaker and MC for bilingual events. We encourage you to join us for this informative and engaging discussion.
Following Chris’s talk, there will be an interactive Q&A session where you can ask any questions you may have about our school, our programmes, or the advantages of a small school setting. There will also be other opportunities throughout the morning to speak with teachers and ask any questions you may have; see details below.
We look forward to welcoming you to Samakee and sharing our passion for education with you.
