Dear Samakee Community,
As the school year draws to a close in June, our focus naturally shifts to ensuring a smooth and positive transition for every child, whether they are moving to a new class, a new school, or even a new country.
To support this important next step, we are delighted to announce our dedicated Transition Day on Monday, June 2nd.
The morning will be an exciting experience for all children as they:
- Visit their new classroom: Exploring their upcoming learning environment.
- Meet their new teacher: Beginning to build that vital connection.
- Learn about exciting changes: Discovering some of the new routines and learning experiences awaiting them next academic year.
For our students embarking on a new adventure beyond Samakee, we have a specially designed and sensitively managed event called RAFT. This meaningful programme focuses on:
- Reconciliation: Reflecting on their journey and resolving any lingering feelings.
- Affirmation: Celebrating their achievements and acknowledging their unique contributions.
- Farewell: Providing a heartfelt opportunity to say goodbye to friends and staff.
- Thinking Ahead: Preparing them for their new beginnings, wherever their next chapter may take them.
Our aim is to ensure every child feels confident, excited, and well-prepared for their next step, fostering a sense of readiness and anticipation for the future.
