Dear Samakee Community,

Virtual Parent Consultations were a positive and successful event yesterday, with 96% of our families participating. I want to thank all who took part for your helpful feedback and encouraging support; we greatly appreciate your collaboration. This academic year, the third and final Parent Consultation Meetings will take place the Week Beginning the 30th May 2022, and we will share more information about these meetings in May.

Thank you for responding quickly to our new ATK testing times last Sunday. As we learn from our experiences this term, this change was required to give us more time to respond to possible positive COVID cases in our school community.

If we get a notification that we have a positive case in our school community, we will assess the risk to the children and staff in school. Based on this assessment, Bubbles may move to Online Learning for a period, and this may include siblings in other Bubbles.

We want to keep a precise picture of our community’s health during half-term in preparation for returning to school on  Monday 21st February. Please continue with a twice-weekly testing during the holiday, take ATK tests on Wednesday the 16th and Sunday the 19th AM, and share the results in the usual way. Thank you for being so supportive.
